South Male Reef Divers brings world-class Maldivian diving to budget-conscious travelers, operating from the local island of Maafushi. Guesthouse-based diving costs a fraction of resort prices while accessing the same spectacular sites.
The South Male Atoll offers exciting channel dives with grey reef sharks, white-tip reef sharks, and eagle rays. Cocoa Thila, Guraidhoo Corner, and Kandooma Thila deliver consistent shark action. Seasonal whale shark encounters are possible on the atoll's outer reef.
PADI and SSI courses from beginner through advanced. The center also offers freediving programs and snorkeling excursions. Night dives feature nurse shark encounters and bioluminescent plankton. Multi-day packages include accommodation at partner guesthouses.
