Simple, transparent pricing
DiveOne is free during the beta period. No credit card required, no hidden fees, no surprise charges.
How pricing works
DiveOne is currently free. During the beta period, every feature is available at no cost. We want real divers testing the app and giving us honest feedback before we finalize our pricing model.
After beta, we plan to keep core dive tracking features accessible and introduce a Pro tier for advanced capabilities like extended analytics and priority support. We believe a subscription model aligns our incentives with yours: we only succeed if you keep finding the tool useful.
Beta testers will be the first to know about pricing changes, and we will never change pricing without advance notice. All prices will be visible in the App Store before any purchase.

Pricing questions
Is DiveOne really free?
Yes. During the beta period, all features are available at no cost. We want your feedback to make DiveOne better before we finalize pricing.
Will I have to pay later?
We plan to introduce a Pro tier after the beta. Core dive tracking features will remain accessible. Beta testers will be the first to know about pricing changes well in advance.
Why a subscription model?
A subscription aligns our incentives with yours. We need to keep improving the product to earn your continued support. It also funds ongoing development, testing, and safety validation — which is especially important for a tool used in life-critical environments.
What will stay free after beta?
Core dive tracking — recording depth, time, temperature, and basic dive logging — is planned to remain free. Advanced features like extended analytics and priority support will be part of the Pro tier.
Are there any in-app purchases?
Not during the beta. Any future in-app purchases or subscriptions will be clearly communicated and visible in the App Store before you commit.
Will my dive data be locked behind a paywall?
Never. Your dive data belongs to you regardless of your plan. You can always access, export, and delete your data — even if you stop paying.
How does this compare to Oceanic+ pricing?
We respect Oceanic+ and what they've built. Our pricing model will be different because our product is different — we're focused on recreational tracking with full data ownership, not on replacing a dive computer. We'll share detailed comparisons when our pricing is finalized.
What is the refund policy?
All subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Apple handles refunds according to their standard policy. You can request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem page within the refund window. We do not have access to your payment information.
What happens when beta ends?
Beta users will receive advance notice before any pricing changes take effect. Your dive data is never affected by plan changes — you keep full access to your logs, export, and deletion regardless. We will clearly communicate the timeline and what changes to expect.
No surprise changes
We will notify all users at least 30 days before any pricing change takes effect.
Your existing dive data is never locked behind a paywall — export and deletion rights are permanent.
Price changes only apply to new billing periods, never retroactively.
All prices are visible in the App Store before you commit. No hidden fees, no auto-upgrades.
Why a subscription at all?
A dive tracking tool used in water needs to be maintained, tested, and improved continuously. That costs money. A one-time purchase doesn't fund long-term reliability.
A subscription means we stay accountable. If DiveOne stops being useful, you cancel. We only earn your support by continuing to deliver a tool worth keeping.
Subscription revenue funds: ongoing development, hardware compatibility testing with new Apple Watch models, safety validation of sensor data accuracy, and responsive support for divers who depend on the tool.
Your dive data is never held hostage. Even if you cancel, you keep full access to your existing logs, export capabilities, and deletion rights. Data ownership is permanent, not subscription-dependent.
Prices shown are for the beta period. Final pricing will be announced separately. All prices will be visible in the App Store before purchase.
Pricing subject to App Store policies. Apple may charge applicable taxes. Subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID settings.
