About this center

Thresher Shark Divers is built around Malapascua's unique selling point: daily encounters with pelagic thresher sharks at Monad Shoal. The early morning dives (departing at 5:00 AM) visit the cleaning station at 25-30 meters where thresher sharks come to have parasites removed by cleaner wrasses.

Beyond threshers, the center runs trips to Gato Island for white-tip reef shark caves, Kalanggaman Island for pristine reefs, and Kimud Shoal for seasonal hammerhead sightings. Night dives on the Dona Marilyn wreck and mandarin fish sites are popular.

PADI and SSI courses from Open Water through technical levels. Nitrox is essential for the deep thresher dives and is included in packages. The center maintains full rental gear and offers camera rental for the shark encounters.
