About this center
Coron Wreck Divers specializes in exploring the fleet of Japanese warships sunk by US aircraft in September 1944. Coron Bay contains 12 accessible wrecks ranging from 10 to 40 meters depth, making it one of Asia's premier wreck diving destinations.
The center runs daily trips to multiple wrecks: the massive supply ship Okikawa Maru, the seaplane tender Akitsushima (with its intact crane), the refrigeration ship Irako, and the atmospheric Skeleton Wreck. Most wrecks feature safe penetration routes for trained divers.
PADI and SSI courses include wreck diving specialty and advanced programs. Technical diving courses cover deeper wrecks requiring decompression. Nitrox extends bottom times on multi-wreck days. Kayangan Lake and Barracuda Lake freshwater dives offer unique thermocline experiences between wreck days.
