Colona Divers

Colona Divers is a PADI 5-Star center operating from the Madinat Coraya resort complex in Marsa Alam. With roots going back to 2000, the center is one of the established names in the southern Egyptian Red Sea, known for well-organized operations and consistent quality.

The Coraya Bay house reef is the center's crown jewel. Accessible directly from the beach, it features a gentle slope leading to a drop-off with rich coral growth and regular sightings of turtles, rays, and moray eels. Dugongs visit the bay periodically, particularly in the seagrass areas to the north.

Boat trips venture to the offshore sites that define Marsa Alam diving. Elphinstone Reef remains the flagship destination, where encounters with oceanic whitetip sharks, hammerheads, and occasional tiger sharks draw experienced divers from around the world. Shaab Samadai (Dolphin House), Abu Dabbab, and the Fury Shoals complex round out the regular boat program.

The PADI 5-Star rating reflects the center's commitment to thorough training and safety. Courses are taught in English, German, and Dutch, with programs ranging from introductory experiences to professional Divemaster certification. A PADI Naturalist specialty course highlights the rich marine ecology of the southern Red Sea.
