About this center
Mabul Reef Divers operates from Semporna town on the Borneo mainland, providing a budget-friendly way to access Sipadan, Mabul, and Kapalai dive sites. Day trips depart early by speedboat, reaching Sipadan in about 45 minutes.
Sipadan permits are arranged in advance (limited to 120 divers per day island-wide). Non-Sipadan days focus on Mabul's excellent muck diving and Kapalai's sandy slopes. PADI courses from Discover Scuba through Advanced.
The Semporna base allows divers to access mainland amenities and restaurants at lower prices than island stays. Nitrox available for certified divers. Multi-day packages offer the best value with accommodation at partner hotels.
