Manta Alley
Overview
Manta Alley is a channel in southern Komodo National Park where reef and oceanic mantas cruise between cleaning stations. During the December-March wet season, plankton-rich currents attract groups of 5-15 mantas, sometimes forming spectacular 'manta trains'. The site is shallower and calmer than north Komodo sites, with most action at 8-15 meters.
