West End Divers

West End Divers is one of the longest-established dive operations in Roatan, operating as a PADI Five Star Dive Resort since 1991. Their three decades of experience on the island have given them unmatched knowledge of over 50 dive sites along the western reef, including wall dives, swim-throughs, canyons, wrecks, and coral gardens.

The center benefits from its prime West End location, with all major dive sites accessible within a 20-minute boat ride. The diversity of underwater topography is remarkable: vertical walls that start at 15 meters and plunge to oceanic depths, intricate swim-through passages adorned with giant barrel sponges, and shallow reef plateaus teeming with Caribbean reef fish. Popular sites include Bear's Den, Blue Channel, Hole in the Wall, and the purpose-sunk wreck El Aguila.

As a PADI Five Star Dive Resort, West End Divers offers on-site accommodation alongside their dive operation, making it convenient for visitors who want an integrated dive-and-stay experience. The center runs the full range of PADI courses from introductory Discover Scuba programs through professional-level Divemaster training.

Fun divers enjoy two-tank morning boat dives and optional afternoon single-tank dives. Equipment rental includes well-maintained BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, and computers. Nitrox is available for certified enriched air divers. The experienced team of instructors and divemasters speak English and Spanish.
