About this center
Greece's biggest dive center and first PADI 5-Star IDC on Rhodes since 1978. Two bases, 30+ dive sites, and nearly 5 decades of experience.
Waterhoppers Diving Schools is the first PADI 5-Star IDC Center on Rhodes and one of the longest-established dive operations in Greece, founded in 1978 and operating on Rhodes since 1990. Now recognized as the premier dive school on the island and the biggest dive center in Greece, Waterhoppers has set the standard for professional diving services in the Dodecanese for over three decades.
The main base in Rhodes Town at Kritika provides central access, while a second base in the Lindos/Pefkos area since 2006 extends coverage to the island's southeastern coast. Between these two bases, Waterhoppers accesses over 30 dive sites across Rhodes, covering the full spectrum from shallow training reefs to deep walls, caves, and wrecks.
The famous Caves of Antony Quinn is arguably Rhodes' best dive site, with visibility reaching up to 30 meters. Other highlights include dramatic wall dives along the eastern coast, historical wreck sites, and vibrant reef ecosystems teeming with Mediterranean marine life including grouper, moray eels, octopus, and colourful nudibranchs.
As a PADI IDC Center, Waterhoppers offers the complete pathway from introductory Discover Scuba Diving through to Instructor Development Courses. The professional team speaks English, Greek, German, and Dutch. Equipment is extensive and well-maintained, reflecting the center's status as the island's largest operation.
With nearly five decades of diving history in Greece and over 600 reviews, Waterhoppers represents unmatched experience and reliability for diving on Rhodes.
