Viwa Dive Center

Small-group PADI/SSI center at Port Ghalib marina. Elphinstone, Dolphin House, Fury Shoals in four languages.

Viwa Dive Center operates from Port Ghalib International Marina, serving as a gateway to the spectacular southern Egyptian Red Sea. Since 2012, the center has offered small-group boat diving to some of the most biodiverse reef systems on the planet.

The boat program covers the southern Red Sea's greatest hits. Elphinstone Reef — with its oceanic whitetip sharks, hammerheads, and dramatic walls — is a regular destination. Shaab Samadai (Dolphin House) provides intimate snorkeling and diving with resident spinner dolphin pods. Abu Dabbab's sandy bay hosts dugongs and green sea turtles. The Fury Shoals complex to the south offers pristine coral formations and wild dolphin encounters at Sataya.

Instruction is available in four languages — English, German, Italian, and Russian — covering PADI and SSI courses from introductory levels through Advanced Open Water. The dual certification option allows divers to choose their preferred training system.

Full equipment rental is available with quality gear. Nitrox fills support extended bottom times at the deeper sites. The center also offers underwater photography packages with camera rental and guidance during dives.

Port Ghalib provides an upscale base for diving operations, with modern marina facilities, restaurants, shops, and hotel partnerships throughout the Marsa Alam area. The center's small-group philosophy ensures personalized attention and flexible dive plans adapted to conditions and diver interests.
