Underwater Vision

Underwater Vision is an award-winning PADI 5 Star IDC Resort and Career Development Center located in La Punta, Utila. The center has earned recognition for its eco-conscious approach to dive training and operations, combining world-class instruction with environmental responsibility in one of the Caribbean's most affordable diving destinations.

The center offers the full spectrum of PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving for complete beginners through Instructor Development for aspiring dive professionals. Their Career Development Center status means they can train instructors — a distinction held by only a handful of centers in Honduras. The quality of instruction has been recognized with multiple PADI awards.

Fun diving around Utila showcases the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef's remarkable biodiversity. Sites include dramatic wall dives along the island's north shore, coral-encrusted pinnacles rising from the sandy bottom, shallow reef gardens teeming with tropical fish, and the occasional whale shark encounter during migration seasons. Visibility typically ranges from 20 to 40 meters, with water temperatures between 27°C and 30°C year-round.

The center operates daily from 8 AM to 6:30 PM, with morning two-tank dives, afternoon single-tank dives, and night dives available. On-site accommodation is available through their associated Hotel Trudy, offering comfortable budget rooms for course students and visiting divers. Equipment rental and nitrox fills are available.
