Undersea Hunter Group is the pioneering liveaboard operator for Cocos Island (Isla del Coco), Costa Rica's most legendary dive destination. Operating since 1990, they run two luxury vessels — the Sea Hunter and the Argo — on 10 and 12-day expeditions to this UNESCO World Heritage Site located 550 kilometers offshore in the Pacific Ocean.

Cocos Island is consistently ranked among the top five dive destinations on the planet, famous for its massive schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks, white-tip reef sharks in the hundreds, manta rays, whale sharks, dolphins, and an extraordinary density of marine life found nowhere else. The island's remote location ensures pristine, unspoiled conditions with some of the most thrilling big-animal encounters in all of diving.

Both vessels depart from the Undersea Hunter Group's private dock at El Cocal in Puntarenas, with the crossing to Cocos Island taking approximately 33 hours. On-site, divers enjoy 3-4 dives per day at world-famous sites such as Bajo Alcyone, Dirty Rock, and Manuelita. The vessels are equipped with spacious cabins, camera preparation areas, nitrox membrane systems, and experienced crew. A minimum of 60 logged dives and drift diving experience is recommended for this advanced destination.
