Tennessee Aqua Adventures proves that world-class diving isn't limited to the coasts. Based in Knoxville, this inland dive centre takes advantage of Tennessee's remarkable freshwater diving opportunities in quarries, lakes, and reservoirs throughout the Smoky Mountains region.

The centre organises regular dive trips to local quarry sites with sunken attractions — submerged boats, planes, school buses, and purpose-built structures that create fascinating underwater playgrounds. Lake diving in Cherokee Lake and Norris Lake provides opportunities to explore rocky ledges, submerged forests, and crystal-clear spring-fed waters. For the adventurous, cave diving excursions to nearby Tennessee and Georgia cave systems are available.

As a full-service PADI dive shop, the centre offers Open Water through Divemaster courses in their heated on-site pool and local quarry sites. Specialty courses include dry suit (essential for winter diving when water temperatures drop to 4-7°C), altitude diving (relevant for the mountain lakes), and night diving. The shop carries a full range of equipment suited for freshwater and cold-water conditions.
