Sun Divers Roatan

Sun Divers Roatan is one of West End's most popular PADI dive centers, widely recognized as Roatan's first PADI Eco Center and consistently ranked among the island's top dive operations. Located at Half Moon Bay in West End, Sun Divers has built a reputation for combining good vibes with great dives, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that appeals to divers of all levels.

The center offers daily two-tank boat dives to the spectacular reef system along Roatan's western coast, accessing over 50 dive sites within a short boat ride. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef here features pristine walls dropping from shallow coral gardens to depths beyond 40 meters, swim-throughs adorned with colorful sponges, and regular encounters with sea turtles, eagle rays, moray eels, and reef sharks.

As a PADI Eco Center, Sun Divers integrates environmental awareness into every aspect of their operation. They run regular reef cleanup events, participate in marine conservation projects, and educate divers about reef-safe practices. Their buoyancy-focused approach to dive training helps protect the delicate coral ecosystems.

Courses span the full PADI curriculum from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster, with popular specialty courses including Nitrox, Deep, Wreck, and Night diving. Equipment rental is available with well-maintained gear, and nitrox fills are offered for certified enriched air divers. Open seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 5 PM.
