Sub Aqua Dive Center Thulhagiri

German-run PADI/SSI dive center at Thulhagiri resort, 20 minutes from the airport, with an excellent house reef and access to North Male Atoll sites.

Sub Aqua Dive Center operates at Thulhagiri Island Resort & Spa in North Male Atoll, just 20 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport. The center is part of the German-based Sub Aqua Dive Center network and has been operating in the Maldives for many years. The 300-meter-long island is surrounded by an excellent house reef that is perfect for both shore diving and snorkeling, with healthy corals, reef fish, and regular turtle sightings. The center also operates a sister dive center at Angaga in South Ari Atoll. Daily boat trips access North Male Atoll's famous dive sites including Banana Reef, HP Reef, and Lankan Manta Point. The center offers courses under both PADI and SSI systems with experienced German and English-speaking instructors. Equipment is well maintained and nitrox fills are available for certified divers.
