Scuba World Divers Makadi Bay operates from the Stella Makadi Beach Resort, a large all-inclusive complex on the Makadi Bay peninsula south of Hurghada. The center combines the convenience of resort-based diving with access to the rich offshore reefs of the northern Red Sea.

The resort's house reef is accessible via the beach and provides consistently good diving from 5 to 25 meters. Coral gardens host a variety of reef fish, moray eels, and octopus. The sheltered bay ensures calm conditions for training dives and leisurely exploration.

Boat trips depart several times weekly to offshore sites including Giftun Island marine park, Abu Ramada (the Aquarium), Umm Gamar, Sha'ab El Erg for dolphin encounters, and the Sha'ab Abu Nuhas wreck complex. The center's dual PADI and SSI affiliation allows flexibility in course selection.

Instruction is provided in English, German, and Dutch, reflecting the resort's predominantly Northern European guest profile. Courses cover the full recreational range with specialty programs on demand. The resort pool serves as a convenient confined water facility for training.
