About this center

Established PADI dive center with dual bases in Perissa and Akrotiri, offering unique volcanic caldera dives on Santorini.

Santorini Dive Center is one of the island's most established scuba operations, with bases in both Perissa and Akrotiri providing access to Santorini's unique volcanic underwater landscape. The center is an accredited PADI Centre with guaranteed quality services and equipment, offering programs for all levels from complete beginners to experienced certified divers.

Diving in Santorini is unlike anywhere else in the Mediterranean. The island's volcanic caldera has created a dramatic underwater topography of lava formations, underwater hot springs, volcanic reefs, and steep walls that plunge into deep blue water. The mineral-rich volcanic rock supports a unique ecosystem, and the clarity of the Aegean waters provides outstanding visibility often exceeding 30 meters.

The center offers wall dives along the caldera cliffs, volcano dives over active hydrothermal vents, wreck dives on sunken vessels, and cave diving through volcanic formations. The diverse sites accommodate divers of all certification levels, with shallow reef dives for beginners and challenging deep wall dives for experienced divers.

PADI courses span from introductory Discover Scuba Diving through to Divemaster, with specialty courses in Deep, Wreck, Nitrox, and Night diving. The multilingual professional instructors speak English, Greek, German, French, and Italian. All equipment is provided and regularly maintained to the highest standards.

The dual-base operation from Perissa and Akrotiri ensures access to dive sites on both the eastern and western sides of the island, maximizing opportunities regardless of wind and sea conditions.
