About this center

Award-winning PADI 5-Star IDC Eco Center in West End with boutique-style small group diving and strong conservation focus.

Roatan Divers is a multi-award-winning PADI 5 Star IDC Eco Center nestled in the heart of West End Village. Specializing in boutique-style diving, the center prioritizes small group sizes, individual attention, and a deep commitment to ocean conservation that has earned them PADI's Eco Center designation.

The dive operation focuses on delivering personalized experiences rather than high-volume tourism. Groups are kept deliberately small, typically no more than six divers per guide, ensuring each diver receives adequate attention whether they are completing their first certification or exploring Roatan's walls as an experienced diver. This approach has earned Roatan Divers consistently outstanding reviews and multiple industry awards.

Daily boat trips access the spectacular reef system along Roatan's western shore, including iconic sites such as Bear's Den, West End Wall, and Herby's Place. The reef here is part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, the second largest in the world, and features dramatic wall dives, swim-throughs, coral canyons, and abundant marine life including sea turtles, eagle rays, and schools of jacks.

As a PADI Eco Center, environmental responsibility is central to operations. The center participates in coral restoration projects, reef cleanups, and educational programs. PADI courses range from Discover Scuba Diving through Instructor Development, with specialty courses in Deep, Wreck, Nitrox, and Night diving.
