Roatan Dive Center

Roatan Dive Center is a boutique SSI dive operation with two locations on Roatan — one in West End and their flagship center in Dixon Cove on the island's south shore. The Dixon Cove location is strategically situated just five minutes from the airport, cruise ship docks, and ferry terminal, making it the most accessible dive center for visitors arriving by cruise ship or those with limited time on the island.

The center is owned and operated by Gary and Mary Miller, with Gary serving as an SSI Instructor Trainer and award-winning Quadruple Platinum Course Director with over 12,500 dives logged on Roatan. This extraordinary level of experience translates directly into the quality of instruction and guided diving, with Gary's intimate knowledge of the reef system ensuring divers are taken to the best sites in optimal conditions.

Diving from Dixon Cove accesses the south shore reef system, which offers a different character from the more heavily dived western reefs. The south shore features stunning wall dives, healthy coral formations, and marine life that is often more abundant due to lighter diving pressure. Three daily dives are offered with personalized service and small groups.

The center offers over 20 SSI specialty courses with digital learning available for pre-study before arrival. Equipment is top-quality and well-maintained. The intimate, personalized approach sets Roatan Dive Center apart from larger operations, ensuring each diver receives individual attention.
