About this center
Red Sea Waterworld operates from the Radisson Blu Resort in El Quseir, a charming old Ottoman port town about 140 kilometers south of Hurghada. Quseir sits in a stretch of coastline known for pristine, uncrowded reefs and reliable encounters with sea turtles and dugongs.
The resort's house reef is accessed directly from the beach via a jetty and offers superb diving from 5 to 30 meters. Hard and soft coral gardens host a healthy population of reef fish, while the sandy patches between coral heads often shelter turtles, stingrays, and crocodilefish.
Boat trips extend the range to offshore sites and along the coast. Popular destinations include the mangroves of Wadi el-Gemal, Sha'ab Sheer, and the reefs around Marsa Alam. The position between Hurghada and Marsa Alam allows access to a wide variety of dive sites that many centers in either town cannot easily reach.
PADI courses run from Discover Scuba through Advanced Open Water in English and German. The center maintains a relaxed, unhurried pace that suits both beginners learning to dive and experienced divers looking for stress-free exploration.
El Quseir itself is one of the most culturally interesting towns on the Red Sea coast, with Ottoman-era architecture, a historic fort, and a traditional souk. Divers who combine their underwater adventures with a visit to the old town gain a richer perspective on Egypt beyond the resort gates.
