Quiescence Diving Services

Quiescence Diving Services offers a truly personalised dive experience in Key Largo, specialising in private and semi-private charters with a maximum of six divers per trip. This intimate approach means less crowding at dive sites, more time with marine life, and the flexibility to tailor each dive to the group's interests and experience level.

The centre accesses the full range of Upper Keys dive sites including Molasses Reef, French Reef, Pickles Reef, and the wreck of the USCGC Duane at 40 metres. The small-group format is particularly popular with underwater photographers, who appreciate the extra time and space to compose shots of green turtles, nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays, and the resident goliath grouper at several sites.

Captain Spencer Slate, one of Key Largo's most experienced dive professionals, has been leading dives in these waters for decades. His intimate knowledge of the reef system means he knows where to find the shy creatures — frogfish, seahorses, and octopus — that larger operations often miss. Night dives are run on demand and are a speciality, revealing the reef's nocturnal predators and bioluminescent displays.
