About this center
Okinawa 39ers is a bilingual dive centre based in Chatan on Okinawa's main island, offering English and Japanese diving services across a wide range of sites. The center provides access to diverse diving experiences including the spectacular Kerama Islands, the historic USS Emmons wreck at Cape Hedo, the Blue Cave at Cape Maeda, and excellent local reef diving at Sunabe and Manza.
Beach dives at Sunabe start from just 10,000 JPY for a single dive, while boat trips range from Kerama three-dive day trips to specialist USS Emmons wreck dives. Night dives are available at Sunabe, and the center also offers seasonal whale swim excursions during winter months. All prices include guide services, tanks, and weights, with full equipment rental available separately.
The team specializes in personalized small-group diving with a focus on safety and enjoyment. Their convenient Chatan location puts them between the popular American Village area and Kadena, making them easily accessible for visitors staying in central Okinawa. The center is well-known for its knowledgeable guides who provide detailed briefings and help divers discover the incredible biodiversity of Okinawa's waters.
