Ocean Concepts is a well-established dive operation on Maui's south shore, offering daily boat trips to Molokini Crater — a partially submerged volcanic caldera that creates one of Hawaii's most spectacular dive environments. The crescent-shaped crater protects a marine preserve with visibility regularly exceeding 45 metres.

Inside the crater, walls drop from the surface to 20 metres over pristine coral gardens where whitetip reef sharks, manta rays, and schools of pennantfish cruise. The backwall of Molokini drops into the blue to over 100 metres and is famous for encounters with hammerhead sharks, whale sharks (seasonal), and massive schools of pelagic fish. Beyond Molokini, the centre dives South Maui reef sites including Nahuna Point (Five Graves), where turtles, octopus, and frogfish are common.

The centre offers full PADI certification courses, guided shore dives at premier south Maui sites, and specialty training. Equipment rental, nitrox, and underwater camera hire are available. Their experienced team includes marine naturalists who provide insightful commentary on Hawaii's unique marine ecology during every trip.
