Maldivers Dhiffushi is an SSI dive center on the inhabited local island of Dhiffushi in Kaafu Atoll (North Male Atoll), the easternmost inhabited island in the Maldives that witnesses the country's first sunrise. The center is locally owned and operated, offering an authentic Maldivian diving experience at budget-friendly prices. Daily boat dives access the diverse reefs, thilas, and channels of North Male Atoll's eastern edge, which sees less diver traffic than the popular western sites. The clear waters and healthy reefs around Dhiffushi provide excellent conditions for both diving and snorkeling. The center offers SSI courses from beginner to professional levels with experienced local instructors who have grown up diving these waters. Being on a local island approximately 37 km northeast of Male, Dhiffushi offers a quieter and more cultural alternative to resort-based diving.
