Looe Key Reef Resort & Dive Center

Looe Key Reef Resort & Dive Center sits on Ramrod Key in the Lower Florida Keys, providing the closest base for diving the spectacular Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. This spur-and-groove reef system is widely considered one of the healthiest and most visually stunning reefs in the entire Keys chain, with towering coral formations, dramatic overhangs, and crystal-clear water.

The resort's dive boats reach Looe Key in just 20 minutes, offering two-tank morning dives and afternoon snorkel trips. The reef teems with life: schools of yellowtail snapper, French and queen angelfish, hawksbill turtles, nurse sharks, and spotted eagle rays are everyday encounters. The deeper sections of the reef reveal large barrel sponges and occasional hammerhead sharks during winter months.

The centre offers PADI courses from beginner through advanced levels, with specialties in deep, nitrox, and night diving. The resort features waterfront rooms, a tiki bar, swimming pool, and boat ramp, making it a complete dive vacation destination.
