About this center

Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort is an award-winning eco-luxury resort on the coast of Hopkins, central Belize. The resort sits on a private beach with direct boat access to the South Water Caye Marine Reserve — a UNESCO World Heritage Site offering some of Belize's most pristine reef diving.

The resort's dive operation runs daily trips to the barrier reef and nearby atolls. Sites feature pristine coral walls, spur-and-groove reef formations, and encounters with eagle rays, reef sharks, turtles, and dolphins. From March to June, Gladden Spit becomes one of the world's most reliable destinations for whale shark encounters, as these gentle giants arrive to feed on snapper spawn. The resort organises dedicated whale shark diving trips during this season.

Hamanasi's treehouse-style accommodations, beachfront dining, and full-service PADI dive operation create a complete dive vacation experience. The resort also offers inland adventures including jungle hikes, cave tubing, and Maya ruins excursions, making it ideal for diving and non-diving couples and families.
