Freediving Planet

Freediving Planet is a dedicated freediving school situated on Panagsama Beach in Moalboal, offering comprehensive instruction across three major freediving certification agencies: AIDA, PADI Freediver, and Molchanovs. Operating since 2013, the school has established itself as one of the premier freediving training centers in the Philippines.

Moalboal's unique underwater environment makes it an exceptional location for freediving. The dramatic drop-off just meters from shore provides access to deep blue water without the need for boats, while the resident sardine school and green sea turtles offer extraordinary freediving experiences in shallow water. The warm tropical waters with year-round temperatures of 26-30 degrees Celsius eliminate the need for thick wetsuits, allowing maximum flexibility and comfort.

Courses range from introductory experiences for complete beginners to advanced training for competitive freedivers. The AIDA curriculum covers levels from AIDA 2 through AIDA 4 and instructor programs. Molchanovs courses provide an alternative pathway with emphasis on relaxation techniques and equalization mastery. PADI Freediver courses round out the offerings, recognized by the world's largest diver training organization.

The school is run by experienced instructors with competitive freediving backgrounds who bring both technical expertise and a genuine passion for the sport. Training includes pool sessions for static and dynamic apnea, open water depth training along Moalboal's wall, and comprehensive theory covering physiology, safety, and equalization techniques. Private coaching sessions are available for those seeking accelerated progress.
