Florida Keys Dive Center

Florida Keys Dive Center is one of the Upper Keys' most comprehensive dive operations, holding PADI 5-Star IDC status and offering everything from introductory experiences to instructor-level training. Located in Tavernier, the centre has quick access to dozens of reef and wreck sites along the Florida Reef Tract.

Two-tank morning and afternoon trips visit sites including Conch Reef, Davis Reef, Crocker Reef, and the USCG Bibb and Duane wrecks. The centre also offers trips to the deeper offshore wrecks like the Eagle and the Spiegel Grove when conditions permit. Marine life is abundant: nurse sharks, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, barracuda, and vibrant reef fish are seen on virtually every dive.

The centre's instructor development program has produced hundreds of PADI professionals. Technical diving courses and deep wreck penetration training are available for qualified divers. The shop maintains a large fleet of rental equipment and runs its own compressor station for air and nitrox fills. Group rates, multi-dive packages, and accommodation partnerships make it a practical choice for multi-day dive vacations.
