About this center

Longest-running PADI 5 Star Dive Resort in Drake Bay since 1997, specializing in Cano Island marine reserve diving.

Costa Rica Adventure Divers is the longest-running dive operation in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica, having been discovering the Pacific Ocean since 1997. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, they are the premier operator for scuba diving and snorkeling tours to Isla del Cano (Cano Island), one of Costa Rica's most celebrated marine reserves.

Cano Island Biological Reserve sits approximately 20 kilometers offshore from Drake Bay on the Osa Peninsula. The reserve protects some of the most pristine coral reefs in the Eastern Pacific, with visibility often exceeding 20 meters. Divers can expect to encounter white-tip reef sharks, bull sharks, spotted eagle rays, manta rays, hawksbill and olive ridley sea turtles, moray eels, and an incredible diversity of tropical reef fish.

The center offers daily two-tank dive trips and snorkeling tours to Cano Island, departing early morning from Playa Colorada in Agujitas. All trips include professional PADI-certified guides, quality equipment, snacks, and drinks. PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Advanced Open Water are available. The Drake Bay location, accessible by boat or small plane, adds to the adventure of reaching one of Costa Rica's most remote and rewarding dive destinations.
