About this center

Catalina Divers Supply is the primary dive operation on Catalina Island, located steps from the famous Casino Point Dive Park — one of California's most accessible and rewarding dive sites. The underwater park is a protected marine preserve where decades of conservation have created an extraordinarily rich ecosystem right off the shore.

The Casino Point site features a gradual slope from 5 to 30+ metres with kelp forests, rocky reefs, and sandy patches. Resident species include bright orange Garibaldi (California's state marine fish), horn sharks, moray eels, lobsters, and the occasional giant black sea bass. Night dives here are spectacular, with hunting octopus, free-swimming moray eels, and bioluminescent organisms. The island's clear waters regularly offer 15-25 metres of visibility.

Beyond Casino Point, the centre runs boat dives to sites around the island including Lover's Cove, the Farnsworth Bank offshore pinnacle (famous for purple hydrocoral), and the SES Johnson wreck. The shop provides full rental equipment, air and nitrox fills, and PADI courses from Discover Scuba through advanced certifications. Shore dive entries are easy, making this an ideal location for new divers.
