Cano Divers

Cano Divers is a PADI dive center based at the Pirate Cove Hotel in Drake Bay, on the remote Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica. They specialize in daily scuba diving and snorkeling tours to Isla del Cano Biological Reserve, one of the premier dive destinations in Central America.

What sets Cano Divers apart is their commitment to small group sizes, with diving groups always accompanied by PADI instructors rather than divemasters alone. This ensures a high level of safety and personalized attention, particularly valuable at the more challenging Cano Island dive sites where currents can be present.

The center welcomes divers from all Drake Bay hotels, offering pickup at Playa Colorada in Agujitas at 7:30 AM for morning departure. Two-tank dive trips include all equipment, snacks, and drinks. PADI courses are available, from introductory experiences through specialty certifications. The waters around Cano Island teem with white-tip reef sharks resting on sandy bottoms, schools of jacks and snappers, spotted eagle rays, sea turtles, and the occasional hammerhead shark or whale shark during migration seasons.
