About this center
Byron Bay Dive Centre, also known as Turtle School, is the only facility in Byron Bay offering both SSI and PADI dive courses. Located on Marvell Street in the heart of Byron Bay, the centre runs regular boat dives and snorkelling trips to Julian Rocks Marine Reserve within the Cape Byron Marine Park.
Julian Rocks is one of Australia's premier dive sites, offering encounters with grey nurse sharks, leopard sharks, manta rays, turtles, and hundreds of species of tropical and temperate fish. The centre also offers freediving courses and whale watching in season.
With a focus on small group experiences and marine education, Byron Bay Dive Centre provides an intimate diving experience suited to both beginners and experienced divers.
