About this center
Blue Water Divers is based in Jupiter, Florida — the drift diving capital of the world. The Gulf Stream flows close to shore here, creating effortless drift dives over limestone ledges and coral reef formations while bringing warm, clear water and a parade of pelagic marine life that makes every dive an adventure.
Jupiter's signature diving features stunning ledge systems at 18-27 metres depth, undercut with overhangs sheltering nurse sharks, goliath grouper (some over 200 kg), green moray eels, and spiny lobsters. The winter months bring the famous lemon shark aggregation — one of the largest known gatherings of these impressive sharks in the world. Summer brings loggerhead and green sea turtles nesting season, and bull sharks are regular visitors year-round.
The centre offers daily two-tank drift dives with experienced captains who read the currents expertly. PADI courses are available from Open Water through technical certifications. The operation prides itself on small groups and flexible dive profiles, allowing experienced divers freedom to explore while providing attentive guidance for newer divers. Equipment rental and nitrox are available.
