What ships in DiveOne 1.0
A factual view of the current App Store build, its limits, and what remains in validation.
DiveOne is a local-first dive recorder and logbook for depth-capable Apple Watch models. It is not a dive computer.
What works today
Real-time depth tracking
Native shallow-depth recording from the watch sensor, displayed on your wrist and limited to 6 m in this release.
Water temperature logging
Water temperature is recorded when the supported watch sensor provides it.
Local dive journal
Completed sessions are saved to the local journal with their available depth, duration, and temperature data.
Apple Health integration
With permission, DiveOne saves completed Watch dives as underwater workouts and imports supported underwater workouts and depth data on iPhone.
Optional account sync
On-device recording works without an account. Signed-in users can sync their profile and logbook through DiveOne servers.
Full offline operation
Recording does not require a network connection during the session.

These features are planned but not available yet. We don't ship until they work correctly.

What DiveOne will never be
- A dive computer. DiveOne does not calculate decompression, NDL, gas, ascent, or safety-stop guidance
- A replacement for your BCD, regulator, or primary safety gear
- A social network or community platform
- A tool that enables account or Apple Health access without your explicit action
What you'll see on your wrist
Active dive
Depth, time, temperature — the essentials, visible at a glance underwater.
Surface interval
Time since last dive, GPS coordinates, session summary.
Dive log
Complete dive history with depth profiles and key metrics.

- Apple Watch Series 10 or later, or any Apple Watch Ultra model including Ultra 3
- iPhone with iOS 17 or later
- watchOS 10 or later
- Account optional for on-device tracking
- Native depth recording limited to 6 m in this release
