SSI center based in Waisai offering boat dives to lesser-visited Raja Ampat sites in the southern Dampier Strait and Wayag area.
Waisai Dive Explorers takes divers to the less-explored corners of Raja Ampat, accessing sites that larger operators bypass. Based in Waisai, the administrative capital of Raja Ampat regency, the center offers multi-day diving packages with homestay accommodation.
Boat trips reach the southern Dampier Strait, Kabui Bay's hidden lagoons, and seasonal expeditions to the stunning Wayag island group. Wobbegong sharks, cuttlefish aggregations, and untouched soft coral gardens are highlights.
SSI courses from Open Water through Advanced. The center works with local Papuan boat crews and guides, ensuring community benefit from diving tourism. Nitrox available. Photography assistance with lighting setup and composition tips.
