Disappointing experience with Extra Divers Oman. Despite confirming in advance that we needed two French-speaking instructors for my father and brother, the setup was chaotic and not as promised. Briefing was noisy and bilingual on a crowded boat, not 1-on-1 as expected. We were told the group would be max 6 divers—there were 7. My mask broke on board. Instructor was a novice with just 2 months in Oman and no knowledge of the dive sites. The driver was 20 minutes late, and communication around payment was confusing and accusatory, despite our efforts to be transparent. I’ve dived in over 10 countries and never encountered such disorganization. Not recommended.

My Dad and I went on 2 morning dives and the experience was awesome from beginning to end. The atmosphere was super relaxed and we saw so much beautiful underwater wildlife. We would recommend it to anyone. Big thank you to our dive guide Miki and the whole team!

I did the morning boat dive with full equipment rental. All of the equipments were nice and new. Sami was a diving expert with lots of experience at diving in the local area. Even though i was told that the visibility was not good compared to other days, I enjoyed diving with the extra divers muscat at muscat bay. Lots of interesting marine life to see.

I advise all potential guests not to book this experience. Today as I am writing this review, me and my family have just experienced the boat trip. It's been a long time since I was greeted by staff who were so rude after I was honest about how the trip was. The person who sold us the trip was called Harriet and was nice from the start. I have never felt so scared during a boat trip when there were high waves. If I were to be responsible for the experience, I would never let the boat go. We were not given life jackets and our captain was completely silent and did not tell us anything. It was difficult to find the dolphins and there were many boats after them. When my family and other guests made the criticism, we got bad answers as Harriet only defended herself and absolutely did not say sorry. It was very expensive for what we got. I really advise anyone who is thinking of taking this tour to cancel it or not book it! We were really sold and they were nice from the start, don't fall for the good feeling you get! Some on board felt so bad that they could not even snorkel or look at the dolphins.

I am from South Africa and I went on a combi tour with Extra Divers and had the most amazing experience where we saw a lot of dolphins up close as well as a great experience snorkeling with turtles. Extra Divers is a MUST do when you are on holiday this side of the world. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
