I just finished a trip of a lifetime on the Emperor Harmoni. The whole staff went above and beyond to make this trip more enjoyable than I could imagine. The diving was incredible! We were coming up from every dive seeing new and interesting things and the sights from the boat were so beautiful. The boat itself is extra spacious and cozy, there’s a nice sun deck to practice yoga (mats provided) or to enjoy a cocktail at sunset. What really made the trip memorable was the crew. Wow, do they work hard and have a great time doing it. Nihed was always happy to have a conversation and ensuring that everyone was having a good time. He took care of all the fine details of the trip and served as a great crew leader alongside Phil, who brought his knowledge and passion for the ocean to the team. Phil’s dive briefings, along with his beautifully drawn dive site maps, were always informative and enjoyable. Danny, our guide made sure that we had an enjoyable diving experience, adjusting to the currents and pointing out all the marine life we wanted to see, including mantas, wobbegong sharks, reef sharks, pygmy seahorses, and nudibranchs, the list goes on…. Gustin and Jarod were also great, though I didn’t dive with them. The kitchen staff—Dimos, Ari, and Nandar did a great job making delicious meals for all the hungry divers on the boat, while accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. Elon, Lee, and Andi were amazing front of the boat staff, serving our meals, making us drinks, and discussing the day’s dives. Their attentiveness and attention to detail were impressive. The boat even organized a fun sunset cocktail party on the beach for us one evening. Captain Augestian and his officers, Salgap and Asbullah, ensured that the boat sailed smoothly and navigated to the best areas and conditions during the trip. The dingy drivers, Wawan, Anto, and Emang gave us a sporty ride to and from the boat and divesites. Who knew diving from a dinghy would be so fun! The boat engineering crew—Tatok, Amir, and Harry kept everything running smoothly. They refilled our tanks after each dive and also gave us a tour of the engine room one evening. Raja Ampat and the HARMONI was a trip I’ll never forget. If you’re considering a liveaboard trip with outstanding service and beautiful coral gardens, HARMONI is where it’s at. Once you’re on board, you’ll have the opportunity to see for yourself how amazing and fun this crew is. Happy diving!

While our 2025 Egypt trip with Emperor left us doubtful that our faith in diving there would ever be restored, I am delighted to say that our faith in Emperor as a company most definitely has been following our Raja Ampat liveaboard on Emperor Harmoni in Feb 2026. From the very beginning — hotel collection, luggage handling, transfers and welcome onboard — everything ran seamlessly. It immediately set the tone for the week. The dive managers, Nehed and Phil were consummate professionals, always energetic, approachable and fully engaged with guests. Every single member of staff played their part brilliantly — from the RIB skipper to the bar and dining team. The “backroom” crew certainly did not go unnoticed: cabin servicing was excellent, meals were exceptional, and the engine room was so immaculate it looked like the machinery had just been installed. While I didn’t visit the wheelhouse, the talented skippers got us everywhere safely and smoothly. All of the dive guides appeared exceptional, and our special thanks go to Jerod for taking such great care of us. We arrived with no particular expectations and were blown away by the diversity of walls, reefs and marine life. Jerod expertly balanced our individual interests — ensuring I saw the large pelagics, while my wife was equally thrilled with nudibranchs and pygmy seahorses. What really stood out was the atmosphere onboard. It was obvious the Harmoni crew genuinely enjoy what they do. The smiles, positive energy and teamwork made guests feel welcome, relaxed and fully able to enjoy the experience. Having enjoyed it so much, we sincerely hope to return to Harmoni again before too long. The fact that Harmoni was purpose-built as a dedicated dive vessel is evident — she is close to perfect. It is genuinely difficult to criticise anything. If you’re thinking about diving in Raja Ampat, you’ll not go wrong with Emperor Harmoni.

Harmony was the best liveaboard I’ve ever been on. The boat is spacious, modern, and perfect for relaxing. The crew was always attentive and careful, and Phil created an exceptional atmosphere. I even celebrated my birthday on board with a special hot pot dinner and a birthday cake an unforgettable detail. The briefings were clear thanks to Phil’s maps and drawings, and they even showed us the engine room. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The dive sites were beautiful, and the team handled everything, Nitrox, wetsuits, towels, so we only had to enjoy and focus on diving. Our guide Agus was professional and very attentive. It was an amazing experience, and I feel truly lucky and grateful for it.

This is a must go liveaboard trip for divers, at least once in their lifetime! The Raja Ampat area in general is beautiful, and the divesites specifically are very nice. Some sites can be a little bit crowded due to other liveaboards and homestays in the area, but it is not a big problem for the diving. BIG props for the crew on Emperor Harmoni! They are very well qualified for their tasks. I went in the rainy season in February, but it was totally great.

What an incredible amazing trip. The Harmoni boat (Best of Raja Ampat) is top class and the crew run it like clock work. Nothing is too much trouble. They look after you like royalty from the wake up call to breakfast to the diving and the welcome back greeting, the refreshing drink and top notch dinner. The cabins are comfortable. Ours on the Top Deck was just what we hoped for. The diving was so incredible too. Our guide NiHed (Boat Director) looked after us and made us feel totally safe. He explained each dive with us and gave us the option to try a little current (only if we felt up to it so no pressure). He checked all the time and if things got a little choppy he would just switch the direction. Honestly we just couldn't fault anything. Thanks to all the crew. We are sad to go home but will come back!!! We hope to see some of the friends we made on the boat again. LOVE TO HARMONI THE BEST DIVE BOAT IN THE WORLD 🌎 😍 ❤️
