⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Five-Star Experience Aboard Arenui – Raja Ampat Our 12-day dive expedition aboard Arenui in Raja Ampat was nothing short of extraordinary—an experience that sets the gold standard for liveaboard diving. From the moment we stepped on board, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of graciousness, kindness, and superb service that never wavered for a single day. The crew of Arenui is truly exceptional. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care created a feeling of being both deeply pampered and completely at home. Every detail—diving operations, meals, cabins, safety, and personalized attention—was handled seamlessly and with a level of excellence rarely found anywhere in the world. The dive team was outstanding: knowledgeable, patient, and passionate, guiding us through Raja Ampat’s breathtaking underwater world with confidence and enthusiasm. The dives themselves were unforgettable—vibrant reefs, incredible biodiversity, and pristine sites that felt almost otherworldly. Above and beyond the diving, it was the kindness and graciousness of the entire crew that made this journey so special. Anticipating needs before they were ever voiced, always with a smile, they delivered superb service that felt heartfelt and sincere, not rehearsed. What an amazing liveaboard! The boat is incredibly beautiful, super well decorated and comfortable. The cabins are spacious and the crew maintains really clean through the day. What a surprise with the bathroom, being big enough, and with a very nice shower. The whole crew is fantastic! Tender guys, diving crew (Fhami we miss you!), and all the people that works on the boat. For the diving part, they not only have always your gear ready for you, but they help you taking your gear (and your websuit, and boots) off, rinsing everything for your next dive. Seriously, all the crew are super nice, always with a smile on their face and ready to help, with anything you need. Food is superb. Taste, presentation, and specially following Dino’s stories. Chef Mario, never cooked the same thing twice, and he actually changed a few things for me very last minute. The last day with the whole crew singing for our group, OMG! Luigi and May (the owners), what an incredible boat you have. And your crew, makes all the difference. Thanks to all of you for an amazing vacation. We are going back in 2027 (couldn’t find an earlier date), and I just hope to see everyone that I already missed.

The ship is great, but their front office has offered not as good as customer service as the crew members offered. At the end of my trip, theycharged me twice for the on board service. When my credit card was run, the internet service cut out and they charged me a second time. They knew this at the time, and even told me that they would remove the charge. It has been over two weeks and they still have not removed the charge. This is a simple process, but they seem unwilling to do that. My diver operator and trip coordinators have contacted them multiple times, I sent them an email and disputed the charge, but they maintain that the charge is correct. Be very careful when dealing with their front office, they are not operating in good faith.

Just got back from a week+ on the Arenui and everything I'd heard and read about the experience was either true or understated! Start with the stunning boat. We've done multiple first rate liveaboards and the Arenui is in a class by itself. Both the public and private spaces are superb. The dining was truly first rate - in quality, variety, quantity and presentation. And the staff? With a ratio of almost 2 staff per diver there's a LOT of service. Again, we've experienced great service on other boats but the Arenui folks take it up a notch. It's pricy and 12 time zones away from home, but we're planning a return trip!
