About this center
Tornado Marine Fleet is one of Egypt's established liveaboard operators, running multi-day dive safaris from Hurghada to the Red Sea's most remote and spectacular dive sites since 1999. Their fleet of liveaboard vessels brings divers to destinations that are inaccessible on day trips.
The flagship itineraries include the Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone route — the so-called BDE trip — which is considered one of the world's premier liveaboard experiences. These remote reefs offer encounters with oceanic whitetip sharks, hammerheads, thresher sharks, and enormous schools of pelagic fish. The Thistlegorm and northern wrecks route covers the famous World War II wreck along with Abu Nuhas and Ras Mohammed.
The fleet includes several vessels of varying sizes and comfort levels, from standard to premium cabins. All boats feature dedicated dive decks with rinse tanks, camera tables, charging stations, and equipment storage. Onboard catering includes full meals and snacks between dives.
Trips typically run for 7 days/6 nights, with 3-4 dives per day including night dives at anchor sites. Briefings are thorough and cover currents, marine life expectations, and safety procedures for each site. The crew includes experienced dive guides who know the open-water sites intimately.
Nitrox is available on all boats for certified divers. Full equipment rental can be arranged in advance. The liveaboard format provides the ultimate Red Sea diving experience, with dawn-to-dusk diving and the chance to be first in the water at sites that day boats cannot reach.
