About this center
Dive Urge operates from the Hadaba district of Sharm el-Sheikh, offering both boat and shore diving experiences across the Sinai Peninsula's spectacular underwater landscapes. Founded in 2009, the center has earned a reputation for enthusiastic, knowledgeable guides who genuinely love sharing the Red Sea with visitors.
Boat trips depart daily for Ras Mohammed National Park, the Straits of Tiran, and the Thistlegorm wreck. The Ras Mohammed trips visit iconic sites like Shark Reef, Yolanda Reef (with its cargo of toilets scattered across the ocean floor), and Jackfish Alley. Tiran trips explore the four reefs of the strait — Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon — each offering dramatic wall diving and strong currents that attract pelagic species.
Shore diving options include the easily accessible sites along the Hadaba coastline and guided trips to the near and far gardens of Na'ama Bay. Night dives from shore are particularly rewarding, with sleeping parrotfish, hunting lionfish, and Spanish dancer nudibranchs.
PADI and SSI courses are taught in English and Arabic, making the center accessible to both international visitors and Egyptian nationals. The team's energy and genuine passion for diving consistently earn praise in reviews.
Equipment is well-maintained with full rental available including modern regulators and BCDs. Underwater photography services include GoPro rental and assistance with framing shots during guided dives. The center arranges hotel pickups from across the Sharm el-Sheikh area.
